After a decade as a campaign manager, media spokesman, communications adviser and crisis consultant, Jack founded Compass Media Group in 1998.
After heading up Compass’ business operations for over 15 years, Jack was ready to hand off day-to-day management of the business to his long-time partner, Julie Cutler, so he could dedicate more time on the ground and in the field providing advertising and advice to select candidates and causes as Managing Partner of Elevated Campaigns.
Jack will continue to lead Elevated Campaigns’ electronic media practice and direct the firm’s growing crisis communications work and our projects with international NGOs. Jack takes pride in personally overseeing the development of each client’s unique paid media strategy—something that will never change.
Over the years, Jack and his production team have served hundreds of Democratic officials and progressive causes. Jack has quarterbacked our efforts on numerous congressional campaigns and created award-winning television, radio and direct mail advertising. He has helped elect 5 Governors and provided strategic advice to dozens of city and county officials. Jack has also played a key role in hundreds of state legislative races and helped win Democratic majorities in 9 states.

Jack received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and a master’s degree in communications from Northwestern University. He also spent three years working at United Airlines in the area of crisis communications and management.
